nurture inquiring minds – Our teaching methods stimulate independent thinkers.
Academic Methodology
The foundations for a student’s entire learning journey are laid during the Pre and Primary years. This is a critical time when children learn to read, write and establish the basis of all future mathematical and scientific understanding.
L’école Mondiale offers different programmes that draw together the best elements of international curricula, using inquiry as an integral part of students’ real-life learning. Inquiry is the vehicle for study that enables learners to ask questions, discover how to find answers and how to apply their skills and knowledge to the world around them.
And Those Who Seek Shall Find…
In PYP the units of inquiry provide a framework upon which the students’ build their knowledge. Aspects of the core subjects of Mathematics, Urdu, English, Science and Social Studies are embedded in the process, while specialist subjects are also linked to the unit. Learners are exposed to stimulating, thought-provoking environments and a wide variety of resources to support the inquiry process. Supplementary experiences such as field trips, visiting experts, artefacts, books, videos and technology connect the inquiry to reality.
In the Middle Years Programme (MYP), students aged 11 to 16 are encouraged to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world, and to become critical and reflective thinkers. The programme is designed to help students develop the knowledge, attitudes,
and skills they need to participate actively and responsibly in a changing and increasingly interrelated world. At our school, we are proud to offer the MYP as part of our commitment to providing a well rounded and globally-minded education to our students.
In IGCSE, a foundation of core subjects is taught with cross-curricular perspectives supported with excellent resources. Our teaching methodology seeks to broaden a student’s horizon by engaging and challenging them through varied activities, making them successful both academically and socially. Students are also encouraged to develop questions, make choices, form opinions and reflect on their work, thus developing self-worth and an ability to assess and take ownership for their own progress. Building a sense of responsibility towards the community and environment is at the core of all academic and co-curricular activities at L’école Mondiale.
L’école Mondiale is now a certified school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and a proud member of the IB World School.
IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.**
**Mission Statement from the IB

what parents say.
It is really important for us to obtain feedback from the parents to understand where our strengths lie and also the areas we need to improve. We want to thank our parents’ body for their continuous support.
